What was the main driving force for you to take action and sign up for Beyond?
You knew my mate Jamie, followed you on IG and saw great results, knew you'd trained celebs for roles with huge transformations, met you at Equinox in New York with Hugh that one time.
Before starting the training plan what was your biggest challenge stopping you from achieving your fitness goals?
Lack of motivation or a goal. Always been a team sports player, been active all my life. But in the grind and routine of work it's hard to remain focused on training and nutrition without a goal.
What positive surprises did you find during your programme?
I had a solid base of knowledge in training but I picked up many different tips around frequency, intensity and also the most on rest/supersets/combos between sets. I'd done a bit of that before but not a lot. I found the weights sessions to be like cardio in a way, so that was different. However I learnt the most on nutrition. What to eat, how much to eat, when to eat, you CAN eat proteins, carbs and fats and none of this bland food nonsense.
During the transformation stage where was the point when you could really start to feel and see the changes?
Week 3-4, dropped 3-4 kgs and saw my abs again, really quick weight loss, I remember emailing you to tell you I didn't want to lose 12 kgs if I kept going at that rate!
What did family and friends notice about you during your transformation?
Strict on diet, made fun of me a little on the strictness (which made me more motivated!!) then weeks 6-12 and after they saw the results and were impressed.

What was the most interesting or surprising thing you felt about the programme?
The knowledge I gained from it, mostly nutrition but also training, I feel I can use that day to day and then top it up with Better Self or Beyond if I have a specific goal. I spend money on things when I want quality, so if I have a specific goal in mind I won't hesitate to do Beyond.
What would you say to anyone that’s thinking about signing up to the plan but is still sitting on the fence?
Said this to may who have asked: "For $300 it's a no-brainer, take it seriously and you'll see results, I did it strictly, but if you even do it 70% and skip a few meals/training sessions you will see amazing results"
How would you sum up your emotional and physical well being now you have completed the programme?
Physical is great, what I achieved and how I feel now, and what I could get to with more Beyond plans. Emotional...more self confidence and back to where I should be, fit and lean.
I think ideally I'd like to do another Beyond with you in the next few months after I get my back sorted. My ideal goal would be to get to about 90kgs and 8-10% body fat. At the end of my plan I was at about 85kgs and probably close to 10% body fat.
